Well, we're all done filming EAT and I can already tell you this movie is going to be everything we were hoping it would be. The cinematography is beautiful, the gore effects are gruesome, but most off all, Meggie Maddock delivers one hell of a break out performance. We're gonna go on vacation for a couple weeks, then when we get home, we're gonna cut this baby together. But I don't want to leave you hanging, so in the mean time, here's a poster to hold you over.

EAT stars Meggie Maddock, Ali Frances and Jeremy Make. It's Jimmy Weber's feature length directorial debut. Weber is most known for his short film INCUBATOR which achieved great success being accepted to nearly 50 film festivals and winning over a dozen awards. Well this is it! We start filming our first feature film on Monday morning. The script is locked, call times are set, actors are rehearsed and the blood is ready to be poured. Hey everyone! Check it out! We've got some new logos and stuff.
2013 is going to be a big year for us. We're in production on our first feature film and have a bunch of other cool stuff planned, so we figured this would be a great chance for a fresh start. A fresh start means we needed a new look. The idea was for it to look like a logo for an 80's punk band.
Not only will this logo be in front of all our movies but we plan on making some new merchandise (hopefully merchandise you can wear). So keep a look out for that!

Big news everyone! EAT officially has a cast!
We're very excited to announce Meggie Maddock, Jeremy Make, Allison Murray, Dakota Pike and Maru Garcia are all set to star in our first feature film. EAT begins principle photography mid-March and will continue into early April. We're hoping to premiere the film later this year.
We are very excited about this talented group of people and have no doubt they will take EAT to the next level.

INCUBATOR is playing at the Bug Theater as a part of the Emerging Filmmakers Project in Denver, Colorado.
This is fun! INCUBATOR will be playing on the big screen once again at the Bug Theater. This should be a cool event with some talented Colorado filmmakers. It takes place on January 17th, starts at 8:00pm and is $5. For all the information, check out their Facebook page.

Not only did INCUBATOR play at Couch Fest recently, but it was given the award for "Most Intense." Very exciting!
This is super cool because the fine folks at Couch Fest were very upfront with us and told us they're not big horror fans and don't usually screen horror films. But they loved INCUBATOR not only gave the film a lot of support but now this cool award.

Hey everyone!
Boy, do I have some big news for you! Pretty People Pictures is officially in pre-production on our very first feature film. That’s right folks, we’re making a real movie! What is the movie? What is it about? I’ll get to all that. But first, allow me to tell you a little bit about how we got to this point.
Annie Baker and I (Jimmy Weber) started Pretty People Pictures six years ago when we were still in film school. We produced a bunch of short films together and made a lot of friends along the way. The first movies were a little rough around the edges and some are better than others, but we both feel the quality of films got better and better as we went along.
Our most recent film, INCUBATOR felt like our first “real” short film. We had a real crew with real equipment and everything came together perfectly. We weren’t just having fun shooting a zombie flick in my backyard. We had a “vision” and followed through with it. The absolutely humbling amount of success INCUBATOR achieved proved to us we are ready to take the next step -- A REAL movie.
So, we did what we always do when we want to make a movie: we wrote a script, saved up some cash, called up our friends and set a date to shoot it. On March 18, 2013, we will start production on EAT, Pretty People Pictures’ first feature length film.
To some of you, EAT may sound familiar. That’s because it’s based on a short story I wrote and posted on this website a while back. The story seemed pretty weird and almost everyone who read it seemed kinda grossed out, which is always cool. But after I wrote it, the characters and story stuck with me. I thought it could make a great screenplay if some of the ideas were developed further. So I did just that and wrote the script pretty quickly. Annie and I both agreed it was a film we both wanted see, we could produce it on a modest budget yet still make an impact with it.
So that’s the plan! 2012 has been a slow year for Pretty People Pictures, but 2013 is (hopefully) going to be huge. We have a lot of big plans and can’t wait to share everything with you in the coming months.
