About the Film

When I finished making DEAD LINE, I knew there was still something I could do with Amelia and Corey...and I wanted it to involve blood. In my mind, DEAD LINE II: Wrong Number was going to be the EVIL DEAD 2 to DEAD LINE and as I look back on it years later...it is. I love every frame of this movie because I knew every frame of this movie before I even shot it. For months, I spent every waking hour thinking about this film and how I would create it. When I watch it now, I'm reminded of how driven I was to get it done and how nothing could stop me. Sure, it's a little student film made by amatuers...but it's my baby.

Making the Film

We shot this whole damn thing in ONE NIGHT! That's craziness! Hell, I don't even remember what happened. I was so busy running around my house setting up lights, checking shot lists, applying make up, directing Annie and Corey, and figuring out the camera moves...I didn't have time to remember what happened. I DO remember at one point hearing the sound of a demonic cat outside, screaming its brains out. There we were, inside my house with mallets, guns, and butcher knives, wearing skull masks and blood stains, yet we were all freaked out by a cat in heat.
