About the film

Everyone has that friend who talks a lot. Hell, most people consider me to be that friend and I can't blame them. But I have this friend who calls me every once in a while and just talks and talks and talks. I love this person, but it can still get pretty annoying. One night, I was sitting down to watch one of my favorites (guess which one) and I get a call from this person. I knew I was gonna be in for a long night and sure enough...it was. Hours later, I fell asleep in the middle of this person's story. When I woke up, that person said, "Isn't that weird?" Absolutely lost and confused, I said, "Yes...that is very strange." With out missing a beat, the person went on with their story and didn't notice my lapse in consciousness. Right then, I had a movie idea. I immediately thought, wouldn't that be weird if this person was MURDERED after I fell asleep. That would be crazy! Well, I guess it wouldn't be too weird considering it was too late to watch my favorite movie and I wanted to strangle this person.

Making the film

Since I still didn't really know what I was doing, we decided to shoot this entire film in one night. This proved to be pretty difficult, but still really fun. We wanted to make a horror movie but weren't brave enough to put in any real blood or guts. Working with sound for the first time was a challenge, but we were prepped enough to handle it. After a ridiculous amount of hours we only had one shot left which involved Annie covering her face in face goop. Being really tired, one of us said, "Now it's time for the goop shot." I can't describe how funny that was. To this day, our final shot is called "The Goop Shot." When we worked with actors who aren't in on the joke, they are generally concerned about what type of movie we're making.
