DRAG ME TO HELL - Trailer

As long as I'm making movies, I will be influenced by Sam Raimi. Like all horror fans, I view the EVIL DEAD trilogy as scripture. When Sam left the genre and began making movies that broke all types of box office records, I patiently waited for him to return to form. Hopefully, DRAG ME TO HELL is just that.

The first trailer for the film has hit the internet today and I thought it would be fun to post it on this site. While this trailer isn't as impressive as the Terminator Salvation, Star Trek, or Inglourious Basterds trailers, I'm still pretty stoked to see it. Besides, it's not like the EVIL DEAD films are the scariest movies ever made. I also think Justin Long will be perfect for a Sam Raimi film even though I'm not his biggest fan. It's funny because Ellen Page was originally going to star in this film but had to drop out for whatever reason. They replaced her with Alison Lohman and it wasn't until I saw this trailer that I realized they are essentially twins.

I'm a big fan of curse movies. I couldn't help but notice this film has a VERY similar plot to one of mine, but then again, all curse movies have the same plot. If you would like to see my attempt at the genre, check out THERE'S A CAR COMING!
