Either this week or next week, I am going to do something I have always wanted to do...a TUTORIAL!
90% of my filmmaking education has come from free online tutorials. They have literally been invaluable to me and I have always wanted to pay it forward.
So I'm gonna start out with a bang. I'm gonna show you how to create your own UFO (as seen in THE INSURGENTS) using Cinema 4D. The tutorial will be a video tutorial for you to download and follow along. Should be very fun.

As you can see, the UFO's won't get you a job at ILM, but they are definitely cool looking and good practice for beginning users.
And that's the other thing, this is for Cinema 4D BEGINNERS. I learned how to make these after playing with Cinema 4d for two hours. Even if you've never used C4D before, it should be easy for you to follow along. As a beginning user myself, I hate finding tutorials on how to make a coke bottle or something. Let's make an ALIEN SPACECRAFT!
